The word Cohausing is a creation combining the prefix “co-,” as in together or mutually (co-living, coworking, co-sharing), and the German “Haus,” which means house and is pronounced similarly in most of the Nordic languages. Beyond the cozy feeling that the concept conveys, Cohausing is a new way for people from different cultural backgrounds and professions and with varying interests to enjoy the opportunity of sharing a living space with one another.
In this mixed community, the residents of Cohausing share a common space on one floor. Its open design enables it to be used and shared by all residents, serving as a place of encounters and interaction, where the kitchen space flows into the dining room. There is also a chill-out area with smart TV, a spacious conference room, and a laundry room.
At the same time, Cohausing offers you the space to feel at home, assuring you all those moments of peace and quiet, reflection, relaxation, and privacy you need. There are rooms for one or two people (each with an attached bathroom and shower), and some of them also have a small terrace or a sunlit balcony. All rooms also feature a compact and conveniently designed workspace. It enables residents to retreat from the common areas for their daily dose of privacy without feeling a sense of confinement.
